Alberto, the main character of this story, is a Spanish boy who needs to buy a present for his father’s birthday, but he’s out of ideas. On top of that, it’s Sunday, the worst day to go shopping in Madrid, because almost every store is closed. We follow Alberto to “El Rastro”, the most important street market in the capital, which is open on Sundays and offers a wide variety of products.
This DVD has mainly been filmed in the crowded streets of El Rastro, and it’s an excellent opportunity to experience the exciting life of the market. It also includes a documentary that provides the most remarkable facts about this popular place.
