Barcelona y Madrid sin humo
This DVD contains two short videos filmed in Madrid and Barcelona, two cities that suffer the consequences of heavy traffic every day.
In these videos we analyze some transportation alternatives that commuters use to avoid the rush hour problems.
"Bicing in Barcelona" focuses on the new way of transportation that is revolutionizing this Spanish city: a system of public bicycles and stations that helps thousands of citizens everyday to move around the city.
"Madrid con prisa" takes us to the Spanish capital, a place where people walk surprisingly fast. Traveling on foot is a serious and very efficient option to get from place to place, but only when it can be done at the city's pace.
The DVD also includes audio tracks for listening activities, and a 24-page booklet with different exercises to do before, during and after watching the videos.

De compras en el Rastro (teacher’s book with DVD)
Alberto, the main character of this story, is a Spanish boy who needs to buy a present for his father’s birthday, but he’s out of ideas. On top of that, it’s Sunday, the worst day to go shopping in Madrid, because almost every store is closed. We follow Alberto to “El Rastro”, the most important street market in the capital, which is open on Sundays and offers a wide variety of products.
This DVD has mainly been filmed in the crowded streets of El Rastro, and it’s an excellent opportunity to experience the exciting life of the market. It also includes a documentary that provides the most remarkable facts about this popular place, and a booklet with activities to help students with the video, and also to practice what they learn from it.

A 18-page color booklet that will help students to make the most of the "De compras en el Rastro" DVD. It contains reading, listening and grammar activities to complete before, during and after watching the DVD. The content of the booklet is included in the "De compras en el Rastro" teacher's book, which you are allowed to copy, but we would also like to offer you a color and affordable version for your students in order to avoid making hundreds of photocopies.
