Practice the differences between “por” and “para” while visiting Barcelona
Posted by Alvaro
We went to Barcelona last August, and we decided to film a new icebreaker to show some of the beautiful spots of this wonderful city. It was great to take our camera to the busy street of Las Ramblas, the colorful market of La Boquería and some of the impressive Gaudí’s buildings, such as La Pedrera and La Casa Batlló.
This video, suitable for Spanish III / B2 / Advanced students, will provide extra practice in a difficult topic: the difference between “por” and “para”. The activities that accompany the video (including two listening exercises) also review this topic, and they’ll make the video easier to understand for your students.
This is a great way to review this often confusing grammatical point, while watching and learning things about one of the world’s top cities.
We hope you’re all having a great start of the 2010/11 school year, and we look forward to your comments and suggestions to add new resources to our website.
