How would you say “hand sanitizer” in Spanish?

Difficult question!
First of all, hand sanitizers are not very common here in Spain. For some reason, we don’t use them. So if I wanted to talk about them with somebody from my country, I’d have to explain first what they are.

After saying that, if I had to give it a name in Spanish I’d say “desinfectante de manos” or “gel desinfectante”. That’s the best I can do. I hope somebody can give a more accurate translation.
