I’d like to include a speaking section in the final exams my students have to take, but I don’t know how to do it, since I have more than 25 students in each of my three classes. Any suggestions?

I don’t include a speaking part in my exams, unless I only have a few students. I give them a grade for speaking though, which is based on their participation and some communicative activities we do in class during the course.

I had the students memorize a short script in which they had to record it into a voice recorder and put into a file on the computer. Students were graded on pronunciation, accuracy, and clarity. I use a olympus digital voice recorder.
