Vamos de compras: Come with your students to “La calle Preciados”, the main shopping area in Madrid.

“Vamos de compras” contains a video and activities for Pre-intermediate students (A2, Spanish II) that are familiar with the basic shopping vocabulary, and who are ready to learn the “pretérito” of the regular verbs. This icebreaker contains:

  • A 12-page PDF document with activities to get your students ready to understand the video. These activities are about the “pretérito”, shopping vocabulary, shopping conversations and vocabulary about fashion businesses.
  • 6 audio activities and their transcripts and answer keys.
  • A high resolution video that you can preview in our Icebreaker section.
